چکیده
Abstract Background Implants are a predictable and well-established treatment method in dentistry. Nevertheless, looking at possible failures of dental implants, early late loss have to be distinguished. The intent the study was report microbiological findings on surface implants with severe peri-implantitis, which had explanted. Methods 53 specimens from 48 patients without general illnesses been examined. groups investigated were that removed period osseointegration (early loss, 13 14 implants) or after healing (late 17 implants). implant losses compared two control (implants no bone directly completed osseointegration, four months placement (17 prosthetic restoration for more than three years (5 5 implants)). Data about bacteria located peri-implant sulcus collected using amplification high throughput sequencing 16S rRNA gene. Results biofilm composition differed substantially between individuals. Both Fusobacterium nucleatum Porphyromonas gingivalis found abundant . Late lost showed higher bacterial diversity addition abundances Treponema, Fretibacterium, Pseudoramibacter Desulfobulbus , while microbial communities very heterogeneous significantly taxa. Conclusions Specific pathogens around primarily uneventful osseointegration. P. F. frequently colonized could therefore characteristic general. In general, also lower losses. However, results not indicative causes
